Hey mate what tracks you are thinking to hit?

I'll come if I can find a passanger to come along.

Also, would only be keen if the weather is dry. Doing Cobaw in the wet would be a prick of a day.

Not wrong there George.
Was there on the 7th July with Shannon.
Only one of the group went up the main track and did a lot of winching to get to the top. Put a nice crease in his front passenger door as well.
All others including myself and Phil "who had put on his 37in treps for the trip" took the far left "chicken track" I had two winches and Phil one. Was very muddy as the area faces west and cops the brunt of the weather. We even had a bit of sleet while working our way up this track. Overall we had a great day out. Drove a couple of tracks I had not been on before. Shannon's twin turbo GQ is neat bit of gear as well.
Would be keen to do this trip but the clutch release bearing "sometimes called the thrust bearing" is squealing like a stuck pig. Started last weekend doing an overnighter out the back of Walhalla. In the process of pulling the gearbox to replace it.

Yeah mare we did it not too long ago and most of us in the group were sporting 37s and twin locked and the magic number was 2 winches each across the board.
1 vehicle did it with 1 winch but he was on 40s...

That section youre talking about that didnt shannons door is the first section of track that has that nasty boulder sticking out on the left.
Catches a lot of people out as when you approach that section of track it litreally throws you left on an angle and caves in your door..
Ps

That twin turbo gq sounds like a nice toy!
