Not sure you know but Frenchman’s is closed and impassable at the Pascoe river crossing, they’re not sure if it will be fixed.

Word is Cape Flattery is closed at the tunnel, you need a permit and they aren’t giving them out.

We will be just seeing the iconic spots and plan on doing some fishing and seeing the sights we aren't in a hurry so anywhere is possible. i myself will be towing a camper ditching it at camp and doing day trips as i will be doing hard tracks. As long as they like a beer and willing to help each other out they are welcome to come and leave whenever it suits them as some people mite want to see different stuff along the way and we are happy to meet them down the track

Great. How experienced a 4wder are you? Have you been to the Cape before? Are you traveling with friend or partner?
Are you interested mostly in “tough” driving, or are you there to take in the scenery and enjoy nature?
Are you planning to be a “trip leader”, or just more the person who posted the trip and got things going?
How old are you?
I’m 48yrs old. Have been 4wding since arriving in Australia 16yrs ago, have been to Cape x1 (2 yrs ago). Live in QLD, am in local 4wd club, would go by myself (wife has to work).
Hope this helps

I have done heaps of 4wdriving. Places like the high country Fraser Island and Glasshouse Mountains. Never been the cape just traveling with a mate. Will be combination of tough easy and scenic driving beach driving. No not a team leader just a person going to the cape and meeting new people along the way and if they want to come along thats fine as well im 37
