Last minute hope for snow at Tallarook MEDIUM

Tallarook, Vic, VIC

See more trips
With snow forecast to 600m this evening I want to do very quick drive up to Tallarook to the top of Mt Hickey (805m). Plan is to meet at the intersection of Ennis Rd and Mountain Track, air down quickly and head up Mountain to the clearing where the tower is. That will be a 200m above the forecast snowline so we should break into the clearing to fresh snow falling - hopefully. From there we will just drive out via Rocky Track to Horans and depending on how my newborn passenger is travelling potentially head out via Jenkins across the creek onto Davis Rd exit.

Mountain is quite rocky and steep so good clearance and tyres is a must.
