Yes it was fun. Enjoyed a great day out. Some challenging tracks were traversed. The rain in the last few days made the steeper sections interesting so say the least, to the point that at times we were just passengers, and our vehicles went where they wanted to until a winch was attached, and control was restored.

We did not complete what Nigel had planned due to conditions encountered but it was a great introduction to Bunyip for me.
As a word of warning, there were signs on entering tracks that dogs are banned in Bunyip State Forest. This is different to the government website as of today 9/4/23. From the government website tonight.
All state forests, except Murrindindi Scenic Reserve and Steavensons Falls Reserves, are open to dogs. During your visit always keep your dog on a lead and under your control. Check with your local council for restrictions in municipal parks, reserves and beaches

Hi Phil - Sadly had to work on Monday so it was not an option. Gentle Annie was so slippery we decided to turn back 2/3 down. I had to winch the whole way up.
