We are planning to start our trip to The Red Centre on Wednesday 5th April in Alice Springs.

We then plan to drive from Alice Springs the Namatjira Drive to Glen Helen , than on to Kings Canyon and Uluru and KatjaTjuta.

We planning to hit the Stuart Highway no later then 19th April to head home to Melbourne.

An more detailed itinerary will be posted soon!

The plan is to do mostly free or low cost  camp and splurge now and then on accomodation. We are travelling with our 30 seconds tent but the trip is easy to do with a off road caravan/campertrailer.

Hoping to swim in beautiful gorges, do some hiking to outlooks and experience the Outback.

So we could not resist and bought a new car today! A stock standard FJ cruiser...spent a bit too much cash...and we need to built the car up too ...that's why we have to cancel the trip...Will do this trip when the new car is ready!!!
