Planning a late arvo/night drive to Bunyip

 

Meeting at Werevr4x4 in Carrum Downs at 4.30pm for 5pm leave, though I'll be down there earlier if you want a chinwag (they having a carpark sale).

 

Must have rated recovery points and gear, and 33" mud terrain tyres required. This is aimed medium trip on 33" muddies. If you have smaller muddies it may be ok depending on vehicle, but if you are self recoverable it'd be a bonus (so we don't spend all night doing recoveries). Some winching may be involved depending on the conditions (also why location is TBA at this point). Always handy to have a navi too. Probably leave the forest around midnight, but of course with any drive who knows.

 

Also; please let us know if you are inexperienced etc. Helps to know who might need a hand/guide before we head out :)

Hey guys, probably head to Bunyip at the moment. Was hoping for some rain but forecast looks to be staying dry unfortunately. I'm sure we'll find some fun stuff. I'll be on 33's for this, as I said it's aimed as a medium trip, but may end up easier given the dry conditions.

Have a few tracks in mind, if we breeze through those there are some harder/more time consuming ones we can look at.

Hi Luke, meet us at the bottom of Little Bunyip track around 645-7pm. We'll air down here. Hard to be spot on with time as there's a few cars following etc. CB 17. 0417 815 553 if you have any issues. Cheers.

Leaving car rum Downs in a sec, second meet point at cardinia Rd maccas around 530, third meet point at the bottom of little bunyip approx 645-700. Minimal phone reception but get us on ch 17
