Relaxed weekend trip to Macalister River Gorge from Thompson Dam.

Plan would be to camp the night at Macalister river and then, depending on the depth and flow cross and drive some of the track on the other side Sunday. If too deep, will come back via the Thompson dam again.

Have attached a photo of the crossing from 2 weeks ago. Crossing was impassable and their was at least 2 metres of silt built up on the exit.
