I have been up that way a few times, lots of great tracks around, Skipworth is a great camping spot just of the main road about 7 km past Jamo and right next to the river with lots of tracks close by

Wayne, not sure if it is a 'typo', but if going to Jamieson not sure that I would be meeting at Glenmaggie; I presume you mean the Mobil servo in Heyfield. All the same, still a long way from Jamieson.

As Matt said, Skipworth is a top camp spot near Jamieson but being Melb Cup weekend it will be 'chockers'. There are still plenty of other camp sites in the area but expect most of them to be very busy. Have a great trip.

Yes Allan I made a mistake about the meeting place I meant yes the service station at Heyfield. I Know it is a long way from jamerson but I Know that area so that is were we will meet. If the trip goes ahead I will let you Know thanks Wayne.

Not sure which way you would head in but if going to Jamieson I head in through Mansfield, not from the sth. much quicker from my place ( Belgrave) Where would you be coming from?

Hello Mathew I am coming from Pearcedale and heading up the princes highway to Traralgon and heading the back way to Heyfield. And then from Heyfield to jamerson Cheers Wayne.

Sweet, once you have made a definite call on the camp site I will let you know which way I will travel in.
Just noticed the meeting time, I will have to work on the Friday so will meet at camp
