Heading back to Toolangi to drive some of my usual tracks, but for something different will probably do it in reverse from previous trips. If there is no rain during the week, will have a look at Cockpit Tk to start then finish the day with Rocky Tk, all going well. Due to tracks planned on the day, trip will be rated 'Medium/Hard' meaning minimum vehicle requirements are as follows;
33" tyres, (muddies or aggressive A/T's)
Some lift, whether body or suspension.
Full recovery gear, including a working winch.
UHF Radio, either in car or hand held.
Some sort of traction aid preferred.
We will cover aprox 100 klms from Yarra Glen, so ensure you have enough fuel, all types available in Yarra Glen). We will have a short lunchbeak, so dont bring the bbq to cook a feast. I have put 9.30am as the meeting time, but I would like everyone to arrive by 9.15am at the latest, as I wish to be heading to our 1st track by 9.30am sharp. Plan will be to be making our way home by 4pm that afternoon.
As with all my trips, CHECK IN is mandatory to confirm your attendance with cut off time 12 noon on Friday April 9th.
