Plan is to drive to Mitchell River National Park, arriving around lunch time and set up camp at Angusvale Camping Area for the night (Drop toilets available). Depending on enthusiasm and time we could explore the park a little in the afternoon.
Day 2, out of Angysvale west along Tabberabbera Track, crossing Dargo Road (Smoko) to numerous options maintaining a westerly direction; Options are then to continue along McDonald Gap Track, Valencia Creek Track, Mt Angus Track to Moroka Hut and then south along Moroka Road to the Avon River, or turn south earlier and explore tracks around Mount Blomford, then south toward Avon River Track to camp for the night.
Cruisy start to Sunday with a drive along the Avon Track to Coongulla- Heyfield and home.
