HI all,
An exploration trip to Pyrenees Range State Forest on the North West of Melbourne. Pyrenees SF is a beautiful area with everything from easy to technical hard tracks. It's situated West of Avoca. Camp at Glenpatrick Recreation Reserve which should be large enough to accommodate 10 cars.
Meeting point: 9.00am Glenpatrick Recreation Reserve (https://goo.gl/maps/YTpfnAAW1hr64vHn8)
I will be camping on Friday evening if you would like to join.
We will be exploring the area on Sat and check out a few iconic tracks such as Old Bluff Track. I have done these tracks in the past but it's been a few years back, so. the condition may have changed.
You will need to be self-sufficient with recovery gear. Make sure your vehicle is in good condition with a working winch. Please check over your vehicle before the trip.
NOTE: this trip may be further postponed if COVID situation changes with increasing cases.
