Plan is to head into the nunninong plains, onto limestone creek, head to Tom groggin, mt pinnabar, mt Gibbo and finishing up north of benambra. Will be some walking involved looking at some old mine sites and also some caves. This trip is all dependent on if the area is open due to the fires earlier this year, will find out in the coming weeks, if it’s closed trip will be moved to Licola and finishing at bright. Difficulty really depends on the weather, so for this reason all cars MUST have a working winch, FULL recovery kit, front and rear recovery points (front tie down points and a tow bar is fine)and off-road tyres in good condition (don’t care if all terrain or mud terrain must be over 50% tread). Will be bush camping every night In alpine areas so must have enough fuel, food, water and warm clothes/sleeping for 4 days driving.
