This is a trip to stay (hotel accommodation or camping) at two of the High Country Hotels I have never been to. Woods Point and Kevington. The plan is to take the "long way", up and down side tracks to arrive at our destination in time to settle in, enjoy/support the local hospitalty and have a feed ready for the next day. This will be a relaxed drive through the high country. Slowing down and taking in the scenery. The intention is to stay at "catered accomodation" the only food/drinks required will be for morning/lunch and afternoon tea and something extra, just in case we get caught out and camping gear. Whilst the rating is Medium/Hard any vehicle with a winch and full recovery gear is welcome. Starting at Erica taking some tracks less traveled 'for me anyway' arriving at Woods Point. Leaving Woods Point will shall duck and weave our way to Kevington. Want to drive a some tracks challenging or otherwise to get to Kevington On the last day will return to Melbourne via tracks that will take us south of Eildon Dam.
Erica Hotel "the start meeting point' it is not on the "accommodation list" as such but if you want to stay there or the local camping ground before the official start of the trip feel free.
