The long range weather report is predicting good snow fall next weekend so I am planning to run a weekend snow trip.

We will meet at Erica, head up towards Thompson Dam, do a few tracks whilst making our way over towards Mt Useful and then to Mt Selma.

I will be staying the night at the Woods Point pub with my wife. The publican said that there will be vacancies for other members of the trip but they are unsure how many they can cater for at this stage. If you would like to stay there, I suggest you ring them asap to secure your room. If people don't want to stay there the night but still want to come for the Sunday tracks, they can stay at the camp ground not far out of town. On Sunday we will head to Mt Matlock and have a play around there. Sunday wont be a big day and hope to be back at dam wall to air up around 1pm. This area can be challenging with snow so a well setup vehicle is needed, with good tyres and a working winch is a must.
