rockey track is decent. and also use some help track. be prepared though. was there on the weekend and caused some damage and only got those tracks done in 3 hours

I have signed up for this trip, and will know if going 100% if my front recovery points get delivered tomorrow, if not I will have to withdraw. I have a winch but in case of front snatch recovery I made a mistake thinking that 2 holes on a bull bar are used for that purpose and on my last trip found out that snatching by bull bar is not a good idea...

Oh well, probably the recovery points will not arrive on time anyway, screw it, I am going anyway, let's hope the winch will come in handy or it's the recovery via tow bar recovery point. Some dickhead has wiped out side of my Prado at the broady train station and I need to release all that bad energy on the tracks

Just use your rear recovery point! You have a proper one at the rear from memory.

Also they might turn up tomorrow in the mail!

Rear recovery point is rated and by mean mother, as mean as I feel about my prado and some dickhead getting away with the damage. But I am going to be on a lookout for him for next couple of weeks, he drove one of those vw suv. Btw Thurstain are you coming on Saturday?

I know exactly how you feel jack. Some dick head tried to steal my Navara in December! Lucky I have immobiliser.. But cost me $800 to repair it!!! And I did half the work myself.


Not sure if I'll be coming. I put down my interest but not sure I'll make it at this point.

Hi guys just wish you all fun on the day.. i was out that way 4 weeks back while in melb... I did rocky in what some would call a stock car other then a 2" lift and Muddies at 18psi .. Did two other tracks on the day ..And ...one un-named one with good ruts in it... .. anyways wish i was still down there and would like to do it again...

Hey all, thanks for coming out today! Apologies that Rocky Tk was a bit much Jay, hopefully will see you on future trips to other places.

We had a good day out covering lots of tracks. There's quite a few boring 'dirt roads' in between but towards the end we found plenty more tracks with steep climbs and a few river crossings.

Have put some photos of Julius up and there is a video of him having a stab at a nutso boghole here: https://youtu.be/0aeEqK_inE4 Having a bit of a hipster phase so I also took some photos using a film camera.... will develop those and post them in a few days lol
