Beginners trip to Tallarook second edition EASY / MEDIUM

As there is so much interest in the Beginners trip posted for this weekend I am going to run a second one leaving 30 minutes after the first. There is not going to be anything hard, but it will give you the opportunity to see some of the capabilities of your vehicle. If you happen to have some recovery gear feel free to bring it along, I will have deflators and I will bring 2 compressors to air up again. Of course if you have these things again feel free to bring them. The only stipulation is for a UHF radio, hand held is fine just make sure it is fully charged, or has good batteries for the day. There will be no pressure on people to do tracks if not comfortable, the aim is to have a nice day and to get to know what your vehicle is potentially capable of doing.

    Ok some of the tracks I am considering are;
    Reservoir
    Falls Creek
    Jenknins
    Gravel Pit
    Caddel
    Rocky
    Of course these can change on the day depending on conditions. Again this is aimed at beginners so may not be your cup of tea if wanting something more challenging. Am also open to suggestion if there is a particular track that someone would like to try, as long as it sits within the guidelines of what the trip is designed for.

    Jenkins Link track, the middle of the hill was slippery enough with enough rocks to stop forward momentum. Three out of seven made it up first go. So the beginners had to roll backwards and do hill starts whilst trying to get a line, all on their first track. The rest of the trip was easy after that.

    True that with Jenkins Link. First time I did it back in March was fairly easy. Up here in Shepparton we have had clear sunny skies for the last week. Was not counting on a little bit of slip from the slight rain that fell over Tallarook. But as stated by Roland, all made it and felt a real sense of achievement doing so.
