Nothing better than kicking off Year 2018 with a great technical 4wding :)
I plan to run this exploration trip to Rubicon/Eildon area and drive/explore a few technical tracks. There is one track we did last year and it took us a few hours to finish a few Kms in the wet. The track can be overgrown in some section so be prepared for that.
I will be taking my son 10 yrs old and his mate on this trip so if you would like to bring your kids, more than welcome to do so.
The plan is to do all the technical tracks on Wed, and probably just touring around the area on Thur aiming to finish the trip around lunch time or no later than 3pm on Thur.
You will need a good setup 4wd with reasonable ground clearance and a working winch. The tracks will be dry but they are rocky, so requiring good technical driving.
There are few good camping spots in the area, so will decide on the spot where to camp.
