(Another) Mount Cole Trip HARD

Seems like there’s a lot of interest in Winston’s trip to mt cole. 

I missed out so I’m posting this trip, with Winston’s blessing, to run a trip in the same area on the same day. 

I’ll be camping, with winstons group, Friday night and Saturday night and leaving back for Melbourne first thing Sunday morning. 

So plan on doing as many tracks as possible on the Saturday. 

Probably some of the most channeling 4WDing I’ve done so make sure your up to the task.

I'm really keen to sign up.
I'm just wondering if I should come when I won't have rock sliders on.
My side steps are already trashed so I don't care about them, just don't wanna crunch into a rock so hard the steps rip off and I do panel damage.
(new sliders arrive mid November)
Just gotta decide I guess.

Nah don’t do it mate. Not worth it.
There’s the Xmas gathering first weekend in December.

Hey Richard, I have just joined the trip and have mate with a GU Ute (similar to my setup) that’s with me to fill the last spot. We will be heading out on the Friday night.

Yeah thats fine.
I was about to cancel the trip with mick dropping out and just tag along on with the other trip but if we have 3 fairly capable vehicles then lets do it.
Think everyone is heading up Friday night, as in Winstons group as well, and camping at chinamans campground night one.

Hi Nathan (Earlz), see if you can get your mate to join this trip here. We try to restrict vehicles from joining our trip if they are not on the list. Obviously everyone's welcome but the main reason we have this site is to make sure we know who's who coming, and what vehicle capability they are, and also allow others (and the trip leader) know the potential turn out.
For hard trip like this, we do want to keep the number low and manageable, hope you understand. Thanks
