Camp at Woods Point on the Friday night - Scotts reserve.

Saturday we embark to Jamieson via Old Coach, German Spur, Moonlight tracks, over to Mt Terrible, wind our way down to Kevington via Flourbag and finish off with Sappers track into Jamieson.

Camp along the Jamieson river. Hopefully catch a couple of trout for dinner.

Itll be steady as she goes, not a bash and crash trip. I want all the cars coming back in one piece, and no tow trucks!

self sufficient food and drink wise. Recovery kit is mandatory.

Trip Leader Tom (roll_tide)
Hi all,
I've put the meeting point as the Woods point pub, because most likely my passenger and I will eat dinner there. I anticipate being at the camp site about 8:15pm. Feel free to meet either at the pub or the campsite.
Ideally I'd like to be on the road 9.30 am Saturday morning.

Thanks Don,
I have listed 7.00pm as meet time, but that is a guide only. It will take me 3.5 hours from work on a Friday afternoon. If you go straight to the camp site, save a good spot for us all! Thanks

That's fine. You shouldnt have any problem finding us. The camp site is open and clear. And visible from woods point- Mansfield road. But you always have the option of coming in the morning before we depart if you'd prefer?

I will get there around 7pm tom, I'm going to leave work early that day. Maybe we could meet in Melbourne somewhere and go up together, is luke also going with you?

I can't leave early unfortunately. My mate coming with me as passenger finishes work in Elsternwick at 3:45 so I'm picking him up then.
We could meet in warby?
Unsure about Luke. It depends on where he's working. I'll talk to him prior

I was thinking of leaving work at around 3pm depending on my passenger but Warby would be a good spot, probably get the around the same time.

Sounds good. Warby it is.
Daylight savings kicks in the weekend prior too, so that helps with setting up swags in the evening

I will be departing work around 2pm from Derrimut.
So is there only one pub in Woods Point? Just to clarify so I don't end up somewhere else? It might be easier for me to rock up to the campsite?
Steve i will be leaving the same time on Friday and going through warburton, me Luke and maybe Tom might be meeting in Warburton around 4:30pm and then going to Woods Point, if that doesn't work just meet us in Woods Point, there is only one pub there but we are camping at Scott's Reserve which is very easy to find, i might by pass the pub myself and head straight to camp. bring a box of wood for a fire if you can, i will do the same.

Yeah correct Steven, there is only one pub. You can't miss it. its on the left at the start of the main drag, as you head in from Warburton.
Seeing as though you are all going to be well ahead of me time wise, ill before woods point for dinner and head straight to the camp site.
Eli, firewood would be fantastic. Saturday we should have enough on the block where we are staying for the night.
EVERYONE, as we are camping on private property in Jamieson on Saturday, i won't tolerate any littering or rubbish being left behind. So ensure you have enough rubbish bags to remove your waste and dispose of into a rubbish bin.
See you all friday,
Cheers

I am hoping to reach warburton around 4:00-430pm
I'm leaving the work in the city at 2:30pm so I should arrive in Warburton at around 4pm.
