Snow hunting trip day trip MEDIUM

Time to get out on a medium difficulty trip to find some snow amongst the ridgelines of 2 mountains ....mt matlock and corn hill..we will be also taking a nice drive through the black spur....tracks are rated at medium based on steepness. Tyres with plenty of tread are essential for this trip, good ATs minimum....we hopefully will be graced with some nice views and lots of snow ...pack snacks, lunch and drinks for the day and dress warm ...planing to finish off with a nice counter meal at Healesville

Ah i dont think so only a needed by law if your camping overnight but i think we should be right but if you want to bring a set along it cant hurt

Chains by law are only required in Alpine resorts I believe.

Which location are you planning on actually heading offroad? I'm going to be in Mansfield area and if possible to meet at a closer meeting point would be preferable rather than travel back to Healesville

Bit of a no brainer but overlooked at times ...im guessing everyone has an air compressor ...the amout of times ive been out and some have simply forgot to pack one if thet haven't hard mounted one ....just a reminder 😉
