Kurth Kiln and Bunyip State Park EASY

This will be a easy 4x4 trip from Kurth Kiln to Bunyip State Park. we will meet at Kurth Kiln on Saturday 22 Junuary at 10.00am I open  Kurth Kiln and show you around the huts before we start.

 

If there are any other 4x4trip members that would like to have a look around Kurth Kiln meet me at the Huts at 10.00am on Saturday a few more at the huts will not matter, you can camp with us if you like but I think 8 4x4s is all I can manage out on the track.

 

From there we will take a 4x4 trip up into Bunyip State Park, this part of the trip will end back in Gembrook.

 

For any one that would like to see a sunset we can 4x4 out to Seven Acre Rock, a easy drive but we will be driving back to Kurth Kiln in the dark, and you will need a torch to walk back about 200mts to the car park at Seven Acre Rock, if you have never been there it is a great place to hear the sounds of the bush at dusk and it great photo of the sunset behind the TV towers.   

 

The day will be depend on no Total Fire band, if there is the trip will be run at a later date.

    wow what a fantastic privilege for me to finally meet the 4x4 Legend Jim (JimMac)
    I am so looking forward to sit at a campsite and just chew with you Jim so I will be leaving Friday late arvo to meet up at camp. I wanted to do your simpson trip but stone the flaming crows my life isn't there yet.

    I'm just a bloke that loves the bush and have had a great life getting out and seeing it, I love my trips in-to the out back but I'm finding it getting harder and harder to get away from people on my trips. It will be good to meet you. In the early days I would not see any one for days at a time.

    Hi Wayne go stuff, it will give us time to get to know each other, I set up some time after 12.00, if you use the CB on ch 10 give me a call I tell you where I are, I will have lots of led lights on, for the first time in many years (over ten years I think ) I take a tent (so we don't lost the camp site) when we are away 4x4ing on Saturday.

    yep I think it may get a bit wet in some spots, If you got any Recovery Gear it would be good to have it with us, my 4x4 is set up for Desert driving and not mud so we may have fun if it's wet

    What sort of 4x4 driving are you planning on doin? I'm thinkin of bringing my two young boys, is it just touring the main roads or 4x4 tracks?

    It will be an easy trip, just a bit slippery :P

    Just put in you navman, corner of Beenak rd and Soldiers rd and go into Soldiers Rd and when you drive a bit up Soldiers rd then you will see a camping ground and me with a BT50, number plate ros1ta green plate.
