There are few good tracks I know, so.....some fun is guaranteed. At the same time there are few tracks I would like to explore. I don't know if they are good or boring, or if they are accessible or anything else, but it is worth to try new routes.

Whoever is interested is welcome (excluded jeep Willis, Hammer, Cayenne, X5) crying

Due to the track condition at Wombat, I have updated your trip details and set Winch as "Recommended" and "Recovery Gear" as Mandatory.

I am not trying to take over your trip but recovery gear is REALLY the basic thing to have (or to buy/invest) for any 4wd trips. There is no excuse not to get one (even just a snatch strap).

I don't recommend 4wders to "borrow" recovery gears. I've lost countless gear in the past due to "lending" it to other 4wders. Some 4wders would just have "Somebody will have recovery gear so I can borrow, I don't need to buy" mindset. I have no problem helping others using my gear but we just don't want them to think we (trip leader) are obligated to let them use others recovery gear.

Other than that, your trip should be fine. Just make sure you check the depth of some bog holes at Wombat, some of them are bottomless....

can agree with that(wombat holes), got stuck in a crazy one last weekend, but some smarts + a winch got me and another vehicle through no issue.

You are right, I apologize, I did everything in a rush (I have a 10 months baby....and I have no family here in Oz. Some of you will know how it is) :)
I missed the option "recommended". I just noticed mandatory.
My rule is "1 winch every 3 cars, with a min of 2 winch necessary for a group", and "1 recovery gear every 2 vehicles".

Anyway, back to the trip.

Meeting point: McDonalds at Bacchus March at 9am.
(Note: if you want a coffe, better if you order it now to get it on time saturday morning)
I have a few track I haven't done yet, and the first track should be one of them. I just don't know if they are open. Some of them may be maintenace tracks. But the second track is Nuggety track, then a couple of unnamed tracks near loyd track, and head west towards Blackwood. We will decide what to do at the start.

Not going on this trip but we were at nuggety track about a week ago and couldnt get up the hill on the right on 37s, have fun though, theres a track to the left which isnt to bad
