Sorry for the short notice ,this is only Sat and Sun . After meeting at Wallan at 8.30 we will depart for Tallarook State Forest , we should be able to cover all the tracks here with a lunch break along the way, with any luck we will camp at Freemans camp/picnic area on Sunday we can explore a bit more or head down to Mt. Dissapointment. Please bring all food and refreshments and a suitable bag to carry your own rubbish out.

Dennis as long as half the 4wds have a winch we will be fine,we all have something on the list of things we either want or need.

Stuart I hope to be entering along Davis road ,my roof top map states that the bridge over Dambyminga Ck. is not crossable but I am hoping we can get across that creek in our 4wds, if anyone knows if this is possible or not let me know, then we may enter via Ennis road but not sure if we can exit freeway here.

I just took a look @ the Weather forecast for the Weekend & well Saturday 33 Max 14 min 40% chance of showers, Sunday 27 with showers.
So we might pull out this time Due to the fact that Tracy Does not fair well in that sort of heat.

I just googled Freemans camp area , they have toilets and a fire place, I will ring the DEPI seymour on Friday to find out if there are any restrictions,if there are no restrictions fires are allowed in the open providing
the fire is lit in a properly constructed fireplace or in a trench at least 30cm deep
where a fireplace is provided, this must be used
the dimensions of the solid fuel are the minimum necessary for the purpose
the fire does not occupy an area exceeding 1 square metre
the ground and airspace within a distance of 3 meters from the outer perimeter and upper most point of the fire are clear of flammable material
the dimensions of the solid fuel used are the minimum necessary for the purpose.
