As of April 30th, the majority of the Alpine National Park is now accessible to 4wders. These include the iconic HC tracks/camping areas such as Billy Goats, Blue Rag, Butcher Country etc and campgrounds such as Talbotville. The usual May seasonal closures are now in place, so if you plan to head up that way, check 1st.

Think I might head up that way for a weekender in 3-4 weeks to drive the tracks we could not do on our recent HC trip...cool.

You are right Antony...sad, but a small part of it is open to the Caledonia junction, as Caledonia River Tk is open.
