Hello,

i was just wondering if anyone has any trip itemaries or or suggestions for the area around Alexander , Victoria.

I am staying up there at Xmas and looking for some good day trip suggestions.

I have a stock PX2 Ranger, Ko2 A/t tyres, winch.

Any help would be appreciated.

Go into Rubicon, all tracks should be easy enough to do with AT tyres and Winch. Snobs Creek Falls, Morris Lookout etc.. Only suggestion is avoid Parks Rd (it's actually a hard track, not a road at all).. Aside from that mostly just dirt roads and easy tracks with some very very nice views on some tracks / roads!

A bit further away is Mt Samaria State Park is alright to do in solo also, mostly dirt roads and again some nice waterfalls and looksouts around (grab a map from the Mansfield info centre)

Probably a bit more challanging....Mansfield State Forest has some good tracks also, some probably grading medium to hard but I didn't explore too much there yet.. but nice river and there is a hut in there.

Some guys here explored Cathedral ranges but I haven't myself.. I know theres some very hard tracks there.. so probbaly pay attention if going solo in a stock vehicle.
