Just bought another Disco myself, same as yours a 99 Series 1 for $2k with a bit of change, low kms at 190k from new, stock standard which is how I like them as it gives me a blank canvas. Hope to get it regoed in ther next month or so, bloody ......

Thanks heaps for the input. A lot of knowledge and experience, which I greatly appreciate.
The RWC inspection was completed. Pretty minor in the scheme of things.
-new front break pads
-rubber cap to the rear bumper corner
-a small hole in the exhaust
-very minor oil leaks
it will get done in the new year - then the build starts!
