Warburton to Talbotville is a bloody long trip as the crow flies, let alone via tracks. You probably haven't had a response as it isn't a route that many would consider as a way in to Talbotville.
How long are you thinking of taking to do it? Seasonal closures will be a big factor on planning as the high country is riddled with them through that region.
