This will be a hard to extreme trip. Plain and simple the chances of breaking or damaging something are high.
Recovery gear, winch, aggressive 33s and lots of flex or lockers are a must. Also, you need to be experienced as a driver. Don't overestimate yourself. If you join without these requirements, I will be messaging you to question why you feel capable of joining, but I will keep an open mind as everyone deserves to advance their experience.
Realistically, 35s or larger are going to be more suited to this trip. And obviously the lift needed to accommodate said rubber.
There are tracks I have planned that make me nervous. Some I may decide to not even drive myself.
This is a trip to push your vehicle and limits. One of the tracks broke my steering twice, a year apart, on the previous vehicle.
As always, if anything does go wrong, we enter as a convoy and leave as a convoy. Will be a lot of teamwork and spotting going on.
Have a few vehicles outside of this site coming, so have limited to a small number. May expand that if anyone drops out.
Btw, stock up on the pies at Avoca, they are the best. I've got an oven in the car so happy to reheat them for you. It's my plan to eat pies all weekend. Haha.
