Exploring the yarra valley state forest MEDIUM / HARD

Toolangi state forest, VIC
Hi everyone. My partner and I are going to be running a trip out to yarra valley state forest. I have found so really fun awesome tracks. It may be slippery. I have got a few tracks in mind but am open to some ideas. They may be heaps of mud and some river crossings. What to bring for the day is some lunch and drinks. Hey everyone.
We have a bit of an issue all of the tracks I have chosen to do are closed for seasonal closures. I'm wanting to know if any of you have a any tracks in mind?

As we may have to find a new place to explore if you have a place in mind please let me know.

If you would consider Toolangi there should still be a couple of tracks to do. I can do some research and check it out in more detail if you like.

There are a few track closures in Toolangi but still heaps open and the tracks that are closed would be un drivable after the recent rain.
I have a big day planned for Saturday but if there are still spots left and I pull up OK Sunday I will come out for a play

Ok so from memory Chevys Track should be open.
At the top of that I think you can still turn left on to Aeroplane Track
At the end of that you take another left and go passed Lyndells Track.
The second track to the right which I can not think of its name is good for a descent.
From there you can make you way to Lukes Creek I think no. 3 Track which has a water pit and small creek crossing.
Bear in mind this is all off the top of my head as I have not been in quite a while..

Hey everyone I have changed the location and meeting spot as out in Warburton where we were going to go all off the tracks I had planned are closed I have had a look around Toolangi and the surrounding areas and there are alot of fun tracks that are still open.

Given the alterations will the new plan still be suitable for a stock Triton with AT tires? Will bring the recovery gear but don't have a winch. Given the forecast, happy to sit it out to avoid slowing everyone down if need be.

Hey yeah should be ok will put you somewhere in between two cars that have winches

Aeroplane is a seasonally closed , all the closed tracks are listed on the parks website.
Just google search seasonally closed tracks and check out the maps

I have a whole list of the tracks that are closed and aeroplane was one of them I all so have a list of the ones that are open that are still good fun.
