Join 4WD TRIP - Briagolong to Thomson Dam v.. (FauxBogan)

Briagolong to Thomson Dam via Huggets Crossing and Macalister Gorge MEDIUM / HARD

Avon Wilderness Area and Macalister Gorge, VIC

Hey Folks, for whatever reason all the trip details were deleted of the website. I plan to start the trip from The Quarries Camp Ground and squiggle our way through to Huggette Crossing camping area. The next day we'll do the great Ben Cruachan creek track and head over to Burgoyne track and drop into Macalister Gorge. The next day we can head back out to jamieson road or head on through to Thomson dam.

I'm happy to run the trip with three or more cars; it's gonna be awesome. It's an amazing area to drive and camp in no matter what the weather is like; but the weather is looking to be awesome.

Hey Dan, you're welcome to join. We'll be camping the first night at Huggette Crossing, which has easy access to a nearby town and route out. Or you can do an extra half day and head south when we hit Jamieson road. Let me know what you decide.
