Expect to use your winch. Muddies, lift, full recovery kit and good working winch required. Will be camping Saturday night, Saturday night camp will depend on how far we get on the day.

Hi Kelvin yes I do Ok just make sure you are prepared for a hard trip. Antony's hard trip is HARD. Please also can you update your 4wd profile so that it can show you have a winch fitted.

Antony (Peloza79) All cars will be fine, was planning some harder tracks but will scrap them and tone it down a touch, will still be challenging though as the area becomes very slippery in winter.

Antony (Peloza79) Kelvin was just making sure your vehicle has a winch as any hard trip a winch is mandatory. it would be a good idea to uptake you car details to stop any confusion next time

I simply gave you a heads up as I can see your profile showing you didn't have a winch and with standard tyres And I have never seen you on any of Antony's hard trip, it's purely for your safety. If you are confident that's totally fine. I have met others in the group so I know their capability. Don't get me wrong, I am not underestimate you but I need you to understand Antony's hard trip is not an easy going trip typically. I don't just warn you but others as well.

Thanks Kelvin old mate, for taking the time to make sure we have the right gear on our cars, so with a bit of luck we all come home safely. I'm glad you marking the trips with bright colours-------green= easy------yellow= easy medium-------red= hard, it makes it so easy to choose the trips I like to do. Looking forward to see every one. If any one interested I'll cook a Hungarian gullash on Saturday night. Let me know ??

thanks Antony I am not using my car for this trip. I was using my partners car which is the same as yours with the same set up but has front and rear winch.

Depends on how far we get Saturday so can't really tell. Mabee woods point as I have toned the trip down so it's not to hard. Got room on my ute if you want to throw a few Jerrys on

Kelvin (TREXGQ) Wow, the snow is pretty full on! .... I am pretty sure we will be driving on snow tomorrow. Just in case, I recommend you bring a Jerry Can for extra fuel.
Watch out Antony's 79 series or my TREX (should be easily recognized) if I can't find you at the meeting point.
