Toolangi day trip MEDIUM / HARD

Toolangi state forest, VIC

*MUD TYRES RECCOMENDED.. Short notice just seeing if anyone's keen to join. Meet at the carpark on the corner of melba highway and Healesville kinglake road at 9am. Tracks are reasonably dry this time of year and some have been graded. Looking to do a couple of the fun tracks: cockpit creek, blowhard and aeroplane. Should be out by 3pm or thereabouts.  Medium rated tracks this time of year Byo snacks. Happy to stop for a bbq lunch on the tracks and even at either the kinglake or toolangi pub for a quick one on the way home.

Matt, IF the weather forecast is correct, (3 days of rain next week), I would be making mud tyres compulsory as all terrains wont cut it on those 3 tracks you have planned. Just my opinion.

Was out there over the weekend for my first time. Cockpit was still pretty sloppy and very challenging (hard side and unlocked with 35s). Mind you we aren't the most experienced guys. I'll try post some pics up.

I normally take the left side as I'm unlocked on 33s. We did it a month ago and wasn't too bad but it does change quickly after some rain

cheers for the day to matt and the boys sorry bout holding yous up a little haha was a good prepper for next time ! hopefully the collie will be kitted right out then and you can use it for a landcruiser recovery vehicle haha !
